Ulrich Keiper studied law at the universities in Saarbrücken and Tübingen. After his First State Exam in Law he received further formation as lawyer at the Kammergericht in Berlin and among others the Bundeskartellamt in Berlin (Federal Office for the Supervision of Cartels) and the Commission of the European Communities - GD Competition - in Brussels.

The main areas of practice for Mr. Keiper are:
  • National and international civil and economic law, including contract and commercial law and transactions
  • Inheritance law, including commercial succession

Mr. Keiper has a special permission as lawyer for inheritance law (Fachanwalt für Erbrecht); he is a member of the "Arbeitsgemeinschaft Erbrecht im Deutschen Anwaltverein".

He is available to individuals and businesses in all matters which would generally fall within the purview of a general law practice.

In economic and/or commercial matters, Mr. Keiper advises and counsels clients relative to incorporation, all aspects of business organization and activity, and also mergers and dissolutions. Mr. Keiper also acts as advisor and legal representative for various foundations.

In real estate matters, Mr. Keiper represents architects, developers and construction concerns, property managers and community associations.

In medical matters Mr. Keiper represents doctors in all aspects of their practices. Since 1996 he has been a trustee for patient data protection and, in this connection, Mr. Keiper has worked extensively in areas regarding patient privacy and computer data protection and secrecy.

Mr. Keiper speaks and writes English and French (as well as his native German).
